Phylis Vesta Boison, has been crowned the 2019 Miss Maliaka queen. The event which came off on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the National Theatre saw artistes like Dope Nation, Kelvynboy, Adina, Medikal and Kuami Eugene performing.
The newly-crowned beauty queen, who is also a third-year accounting student at the University of Ghana, battled it out with nine other ladies to win a cash prize and a brand new car.
Mbord Astanga and Habiba Bint-Abdallah were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The winners on the night together with the other queens were taken through rigorous grooming sessions (entrepreneurship, communication skills, personal outlook, and others), projects and survived evictions to prove their worth as the next Miss Malaika queen.
The judges for the finale were Kojo Jones, Naa Ashorkor, Jocelyn Dumas, Claudia Lumor and James Gardiner.
