Ghana movie awards winner and celebrated playwright and director Anita Oduro presents another collection from her camp dubbed “Kiss me Goodbye” to be premiered in the month of Love (February 1st and 2nd).

The CEO of Anod communications has written and directed plays/movies which includes: “ATM’, The Perfect Man’, ‘That Night I Found Love’, ‘How Do You Want It?, a short movie, ‘Stay’ and ‘Counter Trade.

Kiss me goodbye is a must watch play since it takes the angle of how men see and value love,relationships and marriages.

Speaking to Anita Oduro, she said, “Kiss me goodbye is something different from the norm of public display concerning relationships and marriages.  Something unexpected and something seen as unreal or unbelievable. A man at the hands of a woman!!! Dramatic field relationships believed to stand the test of time, but how true and what is the longevity of this test of time or in time? Will this test never drain or find one partner in the grave? The sweet sense of love lazed with laughter is everything to expect in this new piece. “

Synopsis

Written and directed by Anita Oduro as her fifth play, ‘Kiss Me Goodbye’, will blow your mind.  Kiss Me Goodbye’ is a play that works with different genres. It is intense, provocative and sensual. It is 18+ stage drama with intermissions characterised with live poetry and music to make performance exciting and keep audience intrigued and entertained.

This three cast only play is about a couple who begin on an intense passionate mode but end up practically bitter against each other. The woman decides to find happiness out of her home, but not in the hands of another man, yet tothe detriment of her ailing husband. The ‘help’ solves all issues with his humorous self. Is it too late to save her husband when all hell breaks loose? Will she lose her husband out of unrequited love or will her money help tosave him? 

This sizzling romantic comedy is showing on the 1st and 2ndof February, 2019 inside the Efua Sutherland Drama Studio in the University of Ghana, Legon, 7pm each night. Tickets going for cool 30.00 cedis for single and 50.00 cedis for couple‘Kiss Me Goodbye’ is an unravelling of loveexperiences, a lesson at it and can’t be missed by anyone.
